Montparnasse Tower

38 seconds, that's the time it takes the lifts to reach the top of the Montparnasse Tower, which is pretty amazing considering it's 210 metres (689 feet) tall! You can then enjoy the amazing panoramic views of the whole of Paris which is laid out below you.
On the 56th floor, you can take in the view through the tinted glass while enjoying a snack or a coffee, and perhaps do a little shopping for souvenirs in the gift shop.

The real spectacle can be seen from the tower's terrace. On the 59th floor of the Tour Montparnasse, you'll be overcome by a feeling of euphoria as you touch the sky above Paris.
Here you can contemplate the scale of the city, find the major monuments from Notre Dame to the hazy skyscrapers of la Defense, and enjoy a fine view of the Eiffel Tower. Trace the route of the Seine, point out the hill which is Montmartre to the north, crowned by the Sacre-Cœur, and in clear weather, you can even see the airplanes taking off from Orly.
