Maritime museum over the Seine.
The Musée National de la Marine is one of the oldest maritime museums in the whole world, boasting a staggeringly large collection of model boats and other reconstitutions, but also paintings, sculptures and various art pieces.
Established in the heart of the Palais de Chaillot, the collections within date from the 18th century to the present day. The permanent exhibitions are of much interest, but the museum also organises temporary expos with specific subjects.
