Aviation and Space Museum

Conquer the skyscape.
The Aviation and Space Museum or musée de l'Air et de l'Espace boasts one of the largest collections of planes and space-craft in the world. With over 150 original design planes (including the Concord prototype) and a life-size model of the Ariane space shuttle, you can expect to be amazed from start to finish.
This museum retraces the history of one of mankind's most ambitious projects: flight. Here you will learn about aviation from its humble beginnings (18th century balloons) to modern day satellite launches. Admire old-style gliders, aerobatic aircraft and fighter planes.
Children can also enjoy the numerous games organised by the museum to make their visit a fun experience. These include screenings and guided tours and an astronomy initiation in the planetarium.
